Not all mediations result in a settlement agreement. The mediator will file a report with the Court indicating whether an agreement has been reached. If no agreement is reached, the parties may schedule another mediation at a later time, continue to negotiate on their own, have their attorneys negotiate or have the Court decide the issues in litigation.
