The parties with the dispute may contact a mediator directly, or represented parties may contact a mediator through their attorneys. If the parties or their attorneys cannot agree on a mediator, a Court may nominate mediators from whom they can choose. The mediator will complete a conflict of interest check prior to accepting the case.
