What kind of training does a Rule 31 Mediator have?

A Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator must have either a baccalaureate or graduate degree, four to six years of full-time work experience, and 40 hours of approved training by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. A Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Family Mediator must have a baccalaureate degree or graduate degree, four to six years of full-time work experience and 46 hours of approved training by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. Crossover training is available to mediators who wish to obtain both General Civil and Family Mediator listings.
